The Wire actor Bobby J. Brown has died at 62 following a barn fire in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, according to family members. The fire was reported shortly after 10 p.m. on February 24, 2026, at a property on Roosevelt Boulevard in Chaptico. Firefighters arrived to find a large barn engulfed in flames, with reports that someone might be trapped inside. Brown was discovered within the structure and pronounced dead at the scene.
